About Me

My name is Matthew W. Ashby, and I serve as the Pulpit Evangelist for the Cedar Springs church of Christ in Louisville, KY.  Since I finished college at Freed-Hardeman University in 2001, I’ve been involved with several groups and hobbies.

I currently find time each week to sing with the Louisville Thoroughbred Chorus in Louisville, KY, and with a quartet called Bold Venture.  I also work out with the Bujinkan guys at the Yoshindojo.  In fact, it was a couple of guys from the dojo that renewed my interest in shooting and motivated me to be an instructor for the CCDW program.

Oh, and did I leave out that I can be found many warm days riding my Valkyrie (that’s a motorcycle for you 4-wheel drivers).  Though i stay pretty busy, my schedule proves flexible enough to work out a class for most people’s schedule.
